Misunderstood

Being a six-year-old is tougher than I thought. Last Friday, Agent M wore one of the bunny shirts to school (her choice). She came home from school completely flustered that none of the kids were impressed with it, even when she explained to them, that mom made it for her. “They didn’t get it!”, she said. I wasn’t sure if I should try to explain that most other moms do not draw cartoons. Although, they are quite capable of ironing things onto shirts. Sigh.

Busy

We’re getting ready for our favorite holiday here. February is always the start of my busy art season, the time when everything gets rolling again after a bit of a lull in January. It’s also when all the plans for summer get put into place, as shows and travel are scheduled. Lots and lots of sketches. Lots and lots of paintings. Also, shirts. Maybe more this year.
